I am setting up my 1st sip trunk on a IP500 with 6.0.8 software. it all works for out going calls but when i call the sip phone number i get no responce. the ipo is 192.168.2.200 with a ip route to the router which is 192.168.2.3 in the router is a dmz to the ipo address. in the system status tool if i use the ping i get 3 lost packets. here is the trace from a outgoing call and a incoming one

the provider says they don't use a stun server so i set up the network topology like this
if anyone cn help with this from the trace i would love to here from them thanks.
i also read and tried all that was in this tread with no luck

so in fact if the itsp doesnt use stun then you need to set one in the IPO.

change 0.0.0.0 to 75.101.138.128 (public stun server) and re-run stun

i have tried the account in x-lite softphone and it works fine.

i do have the port open but i have found that that wasn't the problem. i removed the sip phone number from the incoming call route and left it blank and all is working i knew traffic was hitting the ipo because the trace showed activity on the incoming call. it was just getting lost in the system after that. Thanks for your suggestions as we all realize theres always dozens of things that can affect 1 action.

This means that the number in the incoming callroute was wrong.
The ipo looks for a match and if there is no match then you get a 404.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

just configure your SIP URI with * in each field, and use the FULL number in your ICR
