Hello,

I programmed mouths ago and Ip Office 500 with VMPro and now I'm not sure about I chose the best way to make a call flow.
What I wanted was so simple as when the customers call a phone number it should first gives the welcome announcement and then queue the call in a hunt-group. If no agents are available the call should remain in queue (hearing music and waiting announcements).

What I did to do it is:
The Incoming Call Route should redirect the call to a VMPro module.
In the VMPro module I just add a TRANSFER step to the hunt-group number as destination.
Then the hunt-group has enable the Announcements TAB with 20 seconds between the announcement sequence.

I thought it was ok, but now I have some doubts:
Do I have to add the "QUEUE" and "STILL QUEUE" to the Hunt-Group in the VMPro? What does it do? It these is required, What step is required next to the Queue and Still Queue Start Point?
Is possible to hear two differents announcements during the wait in queue? I tryed almost everything but I always hear the same system announcement when the call is in queue.

As it looks like I'm a begginer with the Ip Office stuff.
Regards

in voicemail pro go to groups

find you hunt group and add queued and still queued start npoints.

join the start points in these actions to you ETA or queue position messages then leave them as they are, there is no need to attach the queued and still queued to anything

have you selected the second announcement on the announcement tab? and put timers in

Thanks for the answer.
Is mandatory to add the Queue and Still Queue to the Hunt-Group if I want to queue the calls?
Regarding your note, if I don't want to give information about the queue position or ETA, I just need to leave the queue and still queue without attached steps.
But, What about the transfer action in the VMPro module? Is that right or is there another way?

I tryed to add the Queue and Still Queue start point to the Hunt-Group and I didn't see any difference than without it.
I selected the second announcement but there is always the same announcement repeating. Besides, it is the system announcement for waiting cases, is not a custom announcement.
Regards.

not mandaory, unless you want to customise the messages played

yes leave the steps unattached, if you attach them to anything the call will be taken out of the queue

unless you add the custom points you will only get one message, there is only one, and there needs to be ten calls (i think) pass through the queueing to get an accurate time to answer, otherwise it seems to stay at one minute

something like "all agents are busy....."

i would stick with the transfer action you are using if you need an announcement played first

good luck
