another related question. i like the site you recommended but what i really would like is not to have to re-enter all the file titles again. i have photographs to show my students--they are titled and dated. i have my fla ready to set them onto each page the arrow to continue is done. i just want a script (if there is) that will put the "title.jp" into a box under each photo, minus the ".jpg" so that each photo title will appear under each photo.
do you know if this is possible? or will i have to rewrite all the information?
I am just checking back because i have made this photographe site for my students, and I just want to avoid rewriting all the jpg titles by having the jpg titles appear in a text box below each photo.
I'm not very familiar with the Slide presentation bit... And I did play around with the .fla... But since you're not even loading in these pictures, I think the only way will be to type the title in a textfield on each slide...
Just copy and paste from the Library, it ain't that long!
yes, you're right. i also learned of a program (freeware) called simple viewer which has the key to this problem...but i depends on a software which extracts names -jpg etc.
thanks again. i will get this is up and working for the next session.
best
