Help with NIC configuration

I have two NIC cards in an Ultra 2...hme0 has been acting quite flaky lately, so I added another card, hme1...how do I make sure that hme1 is used upon booting the machine?? It seems it always defaults to hme0...

There should be a file called /etc/hostname.hme0. If you want hme1 configured with the IP address belonging to the hostname that's in that file, rename it to /etc/hostname.hme1.
