I installed a free version of Lotus SmartSuite 97 from the front of a computer magazine which I had had for about 2 years. A big mistake. It deleted without me instructing it part of software already on hard disk.
It would not let me uninstall it because it was running some software program. Eventually had to delete every file individually via My Computer. When I switch on system still looking for it's shortcut.
It deleted all my function icons, such open file, save, print etc. I now only have drop down menus. I've looked in help but obviously am not putting in the correct words. I find help systems a little bit better than nothing. Do you know how I can get a bar with these and the rest of the icons back?
