Hi

I have a wireless D-Link Router maintaining my Internet Connection. I have an Apple PowerBook connected to this on the wireless. I have a PC connected to my PowerBook via an ethernet crossover cable.

PC - XP pro, ethernet
MAC - OSX 10.2, ethernet, wireless (DHCP)

How can i setup the PC and Mac so that the PC can access the internet (via the mac's wireless) when the Mac is on?

TIA

How many ports on the router? Mine [Belkin Wireless] has 4 and each computer connects directly to the router with CAT5 straight-through cables then to the 'net.

4 ethernet ports.

Router and Mac, PC are in different rooms. I want PC to go through MAC so i don't have to have any cables (except between the two machines).

Thanks.

One cable from the other room to the router works fine on mine, gives me both 'net access and file/printer access on the other computers plugged into the router [which had replaced an 8-port switch].

I don't want cables between rooms.

Room 1.
Mac, PC

Room 2.
Router, PC

Mac connects to Router via Wireless. How do i piggyback the PC on the wireless connection? The PC is connected to the Mac with crossover ethernet, MAC has Internet Sharing but i cannot find out the settings i have to give the PC for it to use the connection.

This is a temporary solution whilst i source another wireless adapter for the PC. The last one i purchased did not work.
