Please Help Me,
I am interested in importing from a non Excel database that is saved as a deliminated text file, however when I do this it gives me an error table as well and is often not seperating by the delimiting factor which is a comma. Also I would like to know if there is a way to replace an entire table with another table similar to the replace under the search option. I am relatively new to microsoft access and have been tasked to find out this information and execute it. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch,
Crocker

Not really sure if I understand the application, but can place the text delimited file in Excell first and then import to access? I had to do this with our old ERP system.

You may want to try importing into Excell then in when in Excell copy the table and paste into a new spreadsheet using paste special then choose the option values. Save it then import it into Access
