I have setup a simple import macro in Access 2002 XP and the macro seems to be working just fine. However I am running this macro from a command line and would like Access to totally shutdown after the import is completed. Right now it opens the database and imports that data then closes the database but leaves Access open.. Am I missing a command line option that will finish closing Access or what??

Thanks for your help...Scott

Within the macro dialog box... under action select the Quit option with Exit parameter... i think this is what u want. htwh

Thank Steve; I tried that and all it did was close down the database that I used within the macro which is good but it left open the Access shell.. I did find that if I use Access Runtime it runs the macro and closes everthing down so I found my solution..

Thanks..Scott
