Help with IIS

Hi all.

Question - have new Vista Ultima laptop that I would like to set up as a local test web server using the IIS type module. Anyone have any luck doing this? No problem on one of my other machines running XP Professional.

What error message, if any, are you getting?

Are there any clues in the Event Viewer, or any of the Windows Setup logs?

This thread is XP related but have a look at the problem some Internet Games caused.

Yes, you'll need to provide more information about what the problem actuall is in order to get a better response. My guess: firewall related configuration.

Thanks to both linney and smah. I am going to have the laptop checked out - a couple of other problems - I will provide a more detailed description of what I'm trying to do and the steps I have taken so far once the other quirks are fixed.
