Hello - I have a strange problem.
I have 2 computers on my home wireless network. A laptop with Vista Home Premium and a desktop with XP Pro. Everything worked great until I had a problem with my desktop and decided to wipe it and rebuild it.
Now, my laptop can't ping the desktop. I can see the desktop through my "View computers and devices" option. But if I try to open that computer to see shared folders, Vista tells me it cannot access it. I have file and print sharing installed on my desktop.
My desktop sees my laptop fine, and can access all files.
I've also tried flushing my DNS.
Can anyone help me narrow down the problem?
