help with drop down menus!

Hi there i have recently had a web-stie build for me only there are a few issues relating to the drop down menus.

The first issue is that the menus do not function properly in safari.
The second issue is that the drop down menu will not resize in internet explorer.
The third issue is that tiny boxes appear next to the drop down menu list options.

My first tip would be to contact the person that created the web site and make them fix the problems. And I hope that you haven't payed them in full already - else they might feel that they're "done".
