help with crystal reports

hi,
i'm a new user of crystal reports.
i have to create subreport and connect it to access db.
(i work with 4.6 version)
please help me,how can i create subreport?
how can i connect it and import data from database?

i dont know how crystal 4 works as i have only seen versions 7 and 8.5; but in those versions i write a completely seperate report and save it. then i go into the main report - click on the subreport option and bring it in. as far as linkage it depends on what you are looking for. i wrote a report the other day that has 3 different subreports attached... everything is based on the day something is scheduled to happen therefore when i wrote the subreports i made a daterange paramaeter. when i linked them to the main report i linked the scheduled date to the daterange parameters in each of the subreports.

when i enter the dates i am looking for in the main report; the main report sends the date range to each subreport and brings back whatever information is linked to that date range within that subreport... i hope i did not completely confuse you...
