Help with authorizing NDMP client to NetApp

I am trying to authorize an ndmp client to the Netapp using MD5? But, Netapp does not authorize it. I believe that its probably the MD5 algorithm that i am using which is not converting the 128 byte message to a corect 16byte Digest. I am writing a new NDMP client to do that. I have used NDMJOB and NDMPCOPY as references. But, inspite of that it does not work.
Can someone help me show whats wrong?
