Everyone tells me a stright cable from DB-15 to RJ48 will work. However, no one seems to know the pin outs on either end. Can someone help me?

Well... since *I* never told you that it's possible, not *EVERYONE* has told this is correct. It's not correct.. there is more to it then a simple rewire.
See this link for a block diagram of whats inside a simple transciever.
Just pay the 10 bucks for a transciever off ebay or beg one from a buddy who has a stash of thicknet parts waiting for the day thicknet comes back into vogue![[rofl]](/data/assets/smilies/rofl.gif "[rofl] [rofl]")
