I attach an .mp3 file to an e-mail and send. When it is received on the other end, it shows up as a .tmp file and will not open (asks for a file association). They have winamp and all other .mp3 files play fine.

When I look in my "sent" folder, it appears as an .mp3 attachment and the attachment opens and plays fine?

Why is it ending up as a .tmp file to the person I sent it to?

Thanks...

Before anyone can help, you need to tell us what mail client you're using and does this happen with everyone or just 1 recipient?

If you have Norton AntiVirus, make sure the email option to scan outgoing email is turned off.
