Sorry. I've got to be missing something. I set up a Coverage Answer-group and put in 3 extentions. The phone types are all different. THere is a 6416D+M Digital, a 6221 Analog and a 3410 Wireless telephone. Whenever you dial one of those extentions, only that phone will ring. How do I associate only one phone number to those phones, and if possible, seperate numbers as well.

Set up a telephone number that will be the lead number for this app. You can X port the extension if you wish. Create a new coverage path and in the first point place a CX where X=the coverage answer group number. When the new extension is dialed the 3 extensions will all ring at the same time.

Hope this helps

You might also try adding a terminating extension group.

The differences are subtle, but important between a terminating extension group, and a coverage answer group.

A coverage answer group can contain 8 members, a terminating extension group can contain only 4.

The terminating extension group is the principal for coverage purposes, so you can control the number of rings at the extensions. Using a coverage answer group on an x port, you use the "subsequent don't answer interval", which is a system wide setting, because the call cannot ring at the principal station.

People in a coverage answer group can remove themselves from the coverage answer group (so coverage answer calls will not ring on their staions) by pressing the "send calls" button on their station. You cannot remove yourself from a terminating extension group.

Hope this helps.
