Hi,
I have a query that builds a report. The user of the report want me to add a field to it. The field is a memo.

The report, contains all product made in one week. All these productions are grouped by UPC number. So if we made a product 3 times in a week, it's only one line in the report.

Now there is my problem, You can have data stored in the memo field for each shift (night, day, evenings) but I have to group all of these data to one line of the Report.

is there a way, in a query, to order Access to concat the memo fields to one another to create only one memo field by line of the report?

any help or ideas?

thanks

If the memo field is to be new, it should probably live in a table on its own, Many related to your UPC number. From a solid structure as this you could either build a subreport or drive up a new query showing all of the memo entries in a listed order based on your UPC#. To that perhaps you would include the date/time of the entry and then reduce back to a 255 text field which is more flexible than a memo?
I'm sure you could blend all your memos together however what might the results look like? Just ideas! Gord
