Help with 1750

i am trying to load the following IOS on to a 1750 to run CME

C1700-IPVOICE-MZ-124-4.XC.BIN

the file size is 18mb

how can i get this IOS on to the router the fastest and the cheaper the better

You first of all need a different router. That one has a max of 16mb flash. See the following link as it has a chart for router and memory specifications based on the number of phones you wish to use.

The 1751-V would be the lowest end model that you can run an IP VOICE IOS on.

That depends on the number and type of phones you want to use. Look at the link and it will show minimum requirements based on the number of phones.

Actually I would keep it. You can use it for a small satellite branch or a home user. You can even configure that router with the right feature set to act as a VPN server and with the use of Cisco VPN Client software would allow for secure remote VPN connections.
