I have a new project assigned to me and for some reason my boss told me i could use Windows Media Services for it. I reviewed the stuff it had to offer and it does not fit the bill. Or atleast i can't cover all of it. Here's what I need to do:
-set up a server so ppl can d/l and u/l media files onto our servers.
-each of our client has a login/pass.
-our client's clients needs a login/pass to retrieve our client's u/l & d/l's.(confusing?)
So basically the windows media services just won't cut it. I'm actually thinking of a asp(login screen) & sql(storing account info) combination to set it up. But i still feel like i'm missing something. Any ideas?.. the more the better. Thanks.
