I've recently installed two of these 24 port switches on our network. All documentation that I've read leads to me to believe that I need to access a console port before I can access the network interface. The only problem with this is that neither of these switches has a console port.
So, maybe I don't have everything connected as it should.
Here is how it is now:
2 x 3C16465A connected to each other by CAT5 via port 24 to port 1. I've randomly selected a port for the router. Everything is communicating just fine. However, I would like to access the switches for maintenance & configuration purposes. Any help/thoughts is greatly appreciated.
