Last night our server room's a/c unit went down. When I got to work this morning the room was 85 F. Call pilot is down and no one can dial in. I can however still dial out for some reason. We are working on getting the A/c back up. The room is still at 83 F and we have fans blowing air in there. How do I get our phones back up?

Sounds like you had some sort of power interruption last night because at 85 although it may be uncomfortable it should not affect the system in any way. What happens when you try to call in and does all your calls go through the CP?

we have a auto attendant (I believe is the correct terminology). When you call in it just continuously rings.

I attempted one way but it may have not been the correct way to go about it. I am about two weeks new to Nortel systems. I am more used to working with Cisco networks

push the reset button & hold it in for 2 or 3 seconds

If your calls are comming in via PRI and you can not get the CP back up right away then look in LD 49 and see if you have an IDC Table. If so then you can poinrt the number to an actuall phone until you get the CP corrected.

Agreed, we have no idea what you are working on. Maybe post a picture or a link to a picture so we have some idea how to help you.

Callpilot 150/mini & Meridian option 11c if that helps

if you open the door of the call Pilot do you see any lights?

Thank you to everyone who has posted here. The phones are still down however I was told to wait until Monday to work on it. Thanks again for the help. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix the phones please post and I will read it first thing Monday morning.

Thanks

1: Power down system... if not already done so.

2: Remove all cards from system, except the SSC

3: Connect terminal to Comm port 0

4: Power Up....the leap of faith here. If you have at least a CPU, then you should see the power up messages. From here it starts to become basic fault finding if needed.

5: IF the CPU powers up, and you can communicate with it, it would then become a matter of plugging the cards in 1 at a time, and test.

6: No CPU, then either its the power supply or the SSC card that is gone. No point in going any further until this/these are fixed.

Callpilot is now back up and running. Thank you everyone for your help it is truly appreciated.
