Hi all, sorry in advance if this is confusing. I am a developer without much system admin knowledge. We have two hosting companies and I'm playing the go-between for them but I'm stuck. We have one company hosting Oracle for us, and the other company hosting ColdFusion (this won't change, that option is not available). Our ColdFusion host is having issues getting the Oracle DSN set up.
I have CF server set up on my local machine and I can connect to the Oracle database with no issues. The CF host configuration is different, though. They need to use a THIN-client, and the Oracle drivers are not pre-installed there.
Does anyone know what our CF host should do to set this up? I'm clueless about this. Thanks!
