I am new to VB and facing a problem in Data Report. I have a table for sales header and a detailed table for for storing corresponding item details. There are seperate header and detailed tables for each financial year data.
I have created a data environment, connection, a parent command and its child command. In the parrent command i have selected the header table and in the child i hv selected its detail table. and in the report created group header and placed appropriate fields and its working fine. BUT I WANT TO CHANGE THE HEADER TABLE AND DETAIL TABLE AT RUN TIME ACCORDING TO THE FINANCIAL YEAR SELECTED. i could change the header table by changing the rscommand at run time but i dont know how to change the table in child command ( ie. detail table). Can anybody help me to solve the problem.
