HELP on SQL 2000 returned query

Folks, after retrieving the results ( SQL 2000 ) within Enterprise Manager, there were several rows who's text ( from a message field ) simply read &quot; < Long Text > &quot; adjacent to the author's name... ( I can't expand this column but I KNOW there's data ).

All other message rows returned the text as expected....

Can I expand this retrieved data to present the text I'm expecting?

You probably need to check 'Managing text and image Columns' in the BOL. MSsql has some limits when retreiving text data.
