help on quick masking help

hi when i quick mask its all fine but when i cut it out to paste it comes out very transparent. I won't come out normal.

The quick mask tool uses the settings of the brush tool. Make sure that before you enter quick mask mode and begin masking that your brush tools opacity is set to 100%.

A mask is a channel. Under normal circumstances, you can't cut or paste it.

You can, and probably should under some conditions, vary the opacity of a mask. That helps you control the extent to which, and how soon a particular layer area becomes visible.
