Help on MPR.DLL!!!!

Since I installed the sp4, I simply cannot install any other software. The error is caused by the mpr.dll file, I would like to overwrite it with the prviuos version of that file, but with no success cause the Windows is always using it. So my question is.....HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO DO SOLVE IT?!?!

Have you tried re-installing SP4?
Are you sure that your SP4 file isn't corrupt?

Either remove, or upgrade this Hotfix:

I just uninstalled the sp4, and the problem seems to be solved.

That would have been my last choice.
This is a resolvable issue, and with the benefit of SP4.

But I understand the concern and the hassle.
