Hi all, i have a big problem that is really confusing me. and i need help. I have created a large website, for a downline builder which keeps track of all sorts of info to do wiht a downline system....

HOWEVER

here is the good bit ()

when i start the site, everything goes fine for about 5 hours, then people start recieving this error

Provider error '80004005'

Unspecified error

/head.asp, line 30

I can't quite work out the problem. To start off with the site was generating this error after 2 hours, but i then changed the script timeout to only 60 seconds, that seemed to work but after 5 hours the error came back. I dont understand it at all.

I would also like to point out, that if i wait for say 5 minutes, and try the site again, it will work, but if i click on another page it comes up with that error. The only thing i can think of it being is something to do with either the script timout settings, or the session settings.. The funny thing is, that other asp sites are not comming up with this error, even when this site gets it.. Does anyone know what it is. and can anyone tell me what to do..

I am about tonight to change the mother board, and chip to a higher one, to see if that will solve it.. but i dont understand it

P.S i am running a windows 2000 advanced server, with asp scripting, php scripting, FPSE, cold fusion, and many other language abilities

I have been to technet and looked up the error and all i get is the info

symptoms,

you are using the microsoft OLE DB provider for oracle to connect to oracle 8i database and you are running a stored procedure instead of a package that returns 50 or more results.

HOWEVER

a) i am not using oracle, i am using access 2000
b) i am not generating 50 records, or more, only one at a time
c) it doesnt always happen, just often enough to annoy people..

CAN ANYONE HELP

Thanks
