Hello,
i had a Definity G3V8i, and i need to receive a call on a number, and re-routed to another number, but sending the original ani.

what i want:
pstn(ani=23456,dnis=12345)->switch->pstn(ani=23456,dnis=12345)

and now what i got is:
pstn(ani=23456,dnis=12345)->switch->pstn(ani=my_number,dnis=12345)

the receiving trunk and outgoing trunk are E1 ISDN. any ideas on how to do that? i'm using vector to send the call using 'route-to'

TIA

I can't help you with the vector problem, but can speak a littl bit to the ANI vs CPN (Calling Party Number). Your carrier is in control of what ANI leaves your switch. You may have control over your CPN if your carrier allows you to pass it, but the ANI is provided at the 'CO' level. If your application is relying on true ANI at the 'final' destination, I believe you're out of luck. However, if your 2nd 'forward/rediret' is to a toll-free number, you may be able to have your carrier substitute CPN for ANI in the final delivered datastream.
Good luck!

Try changing the trunk on the outgoing swtich. "Sending connected number" should be set to 'Y'
