Help needed for Installing SQL Server 2000 (Microsoft)

Does anyone know where i can get some help on installing MS SQL Server on my machine, maybe a manual or something else????

Assuming you have a valid install CD, the readme file on the cd should be all you need to know.

Do you have a specific question or problem?

What I want to actually do is make a program (probably in ms access xp) and want to be able to access it from my server. Am I on the wright track?
