Are your devices on the Hardware Compatibility List? Maybe your hardware does is not supported?
Also, why do you think it is a SCSI problem? It sounds like, your SCSI devices were detected and the installation started. How much memory do you have in the machine? You may want to cut it back to 256Mb during the installation proccess. After you get the OS installed and SP4 or higher, insert the rest of your RAM. Joseph L. Poandl

When you get the blue screen, you should note the first lines that appear at the top.
I guess that you are getting the
INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE error.
This normaly means that NT cannot load the correct driver for the SCSI adapter.
This is a common problem with modern ADAPTEC host adapters like 2940U2.
(This are good adapters but NT sipmly loads a not compatible driver instead during setup).
The solution is simple - Read the host adapter's instructions.
In some cases you have to use the F6 key, you'll find it documented in the manual.
You will also have to verify hardware settings like Cabling, SCSI ID and TERMINATION that should be the correct type and configuration.
