Having Major issues with manager 3.2 with IP office 412. When trying to open the config I get a Network Communication Timeout.

FYI I can ping the unit and even use manager to reboot it. I can also use Monitor and Call Status. In addition, all user sets work fine.

We First though it was the network switch, but then ruled it out by connecitng manager PC direct to IPO. Issue appears to have something to do with the network link and negotiation, becuase when the manager pc and ipo are plugged into the same switch, sometimes power cycleing the switch helps. After reboot of the IPO the issue returns.

I have requested an RMA from Avaya and we should have it in a few days, But I just want to make sure I am not doing something wrong here.

Here is some data from monitor when the issue occurs. Seems to have something to do with TFTP but I cant nail why.

Theres another recent post on this nearby....with various cures...I reloaded the last .bak file, seems like it didnt like the last changes made to config..the way manager nows saves a .bak for each change will be a life saver....

How recent was the post. Can yo direct me to it?

FYI: Had Avaya replace the 412. Everything is AOK since.
