Help! I lost a mailbox!!

I deleted a user in AD and recreated it without unchecking the create mailbox checkbox.

I finally got the additional mailbox deleted and tried reconnecting the original to the user. The user never showed up in the reconnect box. While cruising through the reconnect box, I somehow clicked a user and now the mailbox is associated with an unknown user. I need to get the mailbox data back to its owner, if possible.

Anyone know how I can accomplish this?
