I'm a little new to this. I'm using the latest version of dreamweaver. I haven't put up this page to a server yet, but am just testing it on the Internet Browser option in dreamweaver, yet it isn't working. I am linking text to a website... However, instead, it is linking to: C|/WEBSITES/htmlemail/ on my hard drive. Is there any way to make this link directly to the website without having to save the file on my harddrive first?

Try putting the fully qualified pathname in, like - DreamWeaver thinks you're referring to a local webpage (i.e. within your site, rather than an external one).
