help!!!!!!!!! how to install the advanced client ?

when i install the advanced client .i use client put installation but i can see the systems management in the control panel. where does error happy ?

"where does error happy ?" What error???

when I deploy the management point ,at site status,wo can see a error happies

Possible cause: Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) is not installed or running.
Solution: Use Add/Remove Programs to install Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) .

Possible cause: SMS Site Component Manager does not have sufficient access rights to administer and configure Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) on this site system.
Solution: Verify that the Site System Connection accounts are properly configured to allow SMS to administer the site system.

SMS Site Component Manager cannot install component SMS_MP_CONTROL_MANAGER until Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) is installed and configured correctly. Refer to your SMS documentation or the Microsoft Knowledge Base for further information.


I have started the BITS in the service! I dont know what's wrong

I think you need to check to make sure BITS is enabled on your Site Server. Sometimes, you may see that BITs is enabled; however, you may need to re-intall the BITS functionality in IIS.

(One of the most common errors in SMS 2003 advanced client related to BITs...this can be easily corrected)

My server is microsoft windows server 2003 enterprise edition.
My database is sqlserver2000 sp1 ,i dont know if i shoud update it.

And i don't know how to reinstall the BITS functionality in IIS.

where have the example of the installation.

The links I gave you show you have to re-install BITs.

You should update your Service Pack on your SQL 2000 database server. I think SQL SP 3 is the latest.
