HELP-How to get rid of margins when converting layers to tables

I have created my website with layers and then converted it to a table to support more browsers.  The only problem I'm facing is there is now space on the top and left side of my page.  It's as if the table is positioned a little bit to the right and to the bottom of the page.  Is there a way I can avoid this?
