Hi there,

network info:
site1: 1 nw6 server, site2: 1 nw411 server, same tree,
root partition on nw6, site1 master partition on nw6,
site2 subordinate partition on nw6,
site1 read/write partition on nw411, site2 master replica on nw411

problem: at console1, nw6 server turn into "unknow object", at nwadmn32, nw6 server looks normal

tried local dsrepair on both server, force ds sync, didn't help
tried unattended full repair on both servers, force ds sync, didn't help

my reseller told me to log call with novell, before i do that, is there any options i can try?

million thanks!

in the dsrepair - check sync are you getting any errors?
what ds version is on both?
what has changed recently?
is time in sync?

apart from this are you noticing any client issues?

I hate it when that happens. I don't understand your partition layout, but when you see a good object in NWADMIN and a bad object in ConsoleOne, this means that you are reading the good object from one place and the bad object from another. This happens with different utilities. You need to find out which server holds the good object and proceed from there. Don't do anything rash or stupid like start deleting stuff.

Once you find where the bad object exists, you can proceed to resolve it. Might be something you want to take up with Novell or someone that deals with this a lot if you feel it's a little overwhelming. You just want to be careful and make sure you don't make the problem worse.
