I have 2 a/c's on my home computer - admin & a user login.

On both systems, when I logon - windows logs me in, plays the welcome wav file and logs off immediately.

This is not a trial copy of Windows and I do not know where to look.

The m/c is a dual-boot with Win 98. I can access the Win 2000 drives from Win 98 but just can't login to W2K

This is getting urgent, help someone?

Did this just start? Something in the back of my mind says there was a virus that renamed passwords, but it's been awhile. Since 98 doesn't require password, this would make sense but again, it's been awhile. Anybody remember, or am I a victim of old timers desease?
