PHP is forum434 - read faq222-2244 to find how to get the best from these forums

Unfortunately No.

PHP is a server side language therefore it runs on the server, and so has no way of actually probing the client's browser for a Flash plugin.

You would require Javascript for that.

Thank you vacunita (gracias) you are helping me a lot, 'im just trying to become a great designer but I want an accessible-web for everyone too, what do you suggest me

I read somewhere that not everyone has the javascript enabled is that true?

That is correct. Not every Browser, or user will have Javascript enabled. So its a bad idea to rely on it exclusively. However most websites address the issue of needing a plug-in by putting a small legend under the flash movie that reads something like:

The Flash Player Plug-in for your browser is required to view this site. Download it here: Flash Plug-in, or Click Here to go to the no Flash site.

But since its impossible to force a user to install a plug-in to view your site it is also recommended to offer a copy of your site in standard HTML so that users who decide not to install the plug-in, or can't install the plug-in for whatever reason can still view your site.
