'lo all,
just been upgraded to Office 2003 and it seems the help file behaviour is different from that I am used to. The help files seem to be docking with the excel window (or Word etc) and reducing the screen size. Does anyone know where the setting is (there must be one) to turn this off and just open the help file in a new window, in front of the app ???

TIA

Rgds, Geoff

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.

Hi Geoff,

Just grab it by the title bar and move it away from its docked position. The parent window will then resize to fill the gap and you can carry on as before.

I'm not sure if it's actually new behaviour or just an irritant which every new installation has - but you're going to find far worse with 2003 help before you're finished.

Enjoy,
Tony
