What is the fastest way to transfer the complete program of one opt11 to another opt11? Thanks.....

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

that is by far the quickest, you can do a backup and restore to a secondary switch but moving the ssc is much faster

Pardon my igonrance here but....isn't the keycode of the software on the SSC the same as the keycode on the Mermail? Don't they have to be in agreement with each other? If so, wouldn't penduko then have to swap the Mermail boxes also?

The keycodes will have some impact on the config, but only if they do not match up. We use a default config for every Option 11 we install (about 20 so far). The default config is loaded and we then make the necessary changes to make the system unique. This saves a ton of time building things like the CDB, BARS/NARS, and CDP.

We have a few PCMCIA cards that are used for this, and it is a real easy process using LD 143.

Moving the SSC is easy and quick, but if you want to duplicate the config on a second system. The keycodes are not tied to the config, only to what the system is "allowed" to configure.
