hi,

i have put together and edited a video with clips i've captured, but when i go to export it it gets about halfway through and then crashes, saying premiere has caused an error and has to be shut down. it only happens with this project.

also when i'm in dv playback mode, i get partway through the preview, and then the audio slows down. please help

thanks

One possible reason is a dropped frame. Ran across this in one project; always stopped at exactly the same point. Zoomed in and found just ONE frame's audio missing. Cut around it in the original file- 3 frames, totally unnoticeable to the naked eye- and saved it, then replaced the one on the timeline. Rendered & exported no problem!

Might not be your problem, but it's worth a look.

darrcott,

Does it happen at the same point each time? If so, then there could be a variety of things wrong with that particular asset, such as what DVDJBrent was suggesting.
