Thanxs In advance for any help you may beable to give me
the problem
ihave moved a net work from one buildeing to another then the owner decided to upgrade one of the machines from win98 to win 2000 pro (NT5) all went fine with exception of the EDI which will now dial up connect and goes OK right up to the point that the actule data is transfered then nothing happens if you click cancel it6 just says aborted by user
Any help wood be good as i have zero exsepertion with edi

Hi Tim.

Noticing that you are in the UK, things may be quite different than my experience, but here goes...

Most of the EDI software that I have worked with assumes that it is transfering data to an IBM mainframe using a bisync line and 3270 protocols. If this were the case and you had upgraded the client computer, it may have lost the modem configuration or protocol conversion software.

In this case, you would probably see a dial out, a negotiation, then communications death once the computers tried to shift to 3270 protocol.
