HELP!!! Dreamweaver keeps crashing

HElP!!! I have Dreamweaver UltraDev 4. The flash buttons work the first time I run the program after installation, but everytime after that I try to insert a Flash button I get the following error message: "While executing objectTag in Flash Button, an error occurred." Has anyone had the same problem before?? If so, any solutions????

Hello Slick!

I think the common solution would be to reinstall DW UD. Normally DW doesn't behave like this. I would reinstall it and see if the problem occurs.

I've tried that many times...It consistently crashes after working the first time, whenever I try to use the Flash Button options...Any more suggestions?

Isntall windows 2000

Download the updates for dm/ultradev

I had SOOOOOOOO many problems with dm4 and ultradev till I did this. Someone else may have no problems at all with win98. but dm/ultradev cause conflcits on some systems, unless you sintall windows 2000 and have the ram

192 meg minimum, 256 optimum. I don't care what the specs say.

I worked with DW UD with only 64 Mb of RAM on NT 4. It was very slow, but it worked and nothing crashed ever. But I agree that increasing RAM coulb be a good solution.
