Anyone knows how to display an image using VB6? The image data are in gray level with x and y dimension. Thanks.

So you have a grey scale image that has a X and Y dimension. What kind of image is it? JPEG, BMP, GIF, XIF, TIFF, WMF, EMF, Other?

For most of these you could use a picture box or an image box with the loadpicture function or you could use the Kodak Image Edit control.

Information, We want information.

Good Luck

My image file is a just a binaries files. Can I just do that as well... using the loadPicture function? The X and Y dimension is in another file. The bnaries file contain only values of the intensity.

I am not sure. I am guessing that the format of the binary is not a standard format that I have mentioned above. If so then the points of color should be delimited in some way. If so then you could read in the binary and since you know the X and Y from the other file you could use the PSet function of a form or picure box to color in the pixels.

I hope this helps in your quest for knowledge. Good Luck
