It could also be a BIOS or SCSI BIOS setting. Are you booting to SCSI drives first? What are the drives in the system, what's the boot order in the BIOS,... By the way, in all likelyhood this message is happening during POSt, so it is not software related. When have you ever been able to enter the BIOS after POST?
