I sign up with Adelphia and desperately need help
getting a valid IP with a cisco router.
If you notice below there's an auto install script
trying to run on ethernet 1. The script runs if the
modem goes directly to the PC. I've a 2611 configure
with NAT and firewall, but I can't get a public IP
because Aldephia initial installation is configured to
issue a private IP through NAT VIA script, which is
trying to run on my 2611 router interface e1. Is there
a way around there script and private NAT IP? Maybe a
"ip nat inside source static" command. Any one using
Adelphia cable internet? If yes, what's the work around
and how did you get the router to pickup an IP?
First I tried to get an IP with the router unsuccessfully, so I tried with the computer.
