Help can't run access, it's saying out of license on this machine

I've installed office 2000 on top of my office 97, then decided to reinstalled office 97. Now it can't run access.
It telling me "The program is out of license for this machine".
Tried unstall and reinstalled serveral times and use the nu-install utilites from Microsoft to completely erease office 97 with no success.
What is going on with this installed.

Go to the technet site, they have a script to download that will correct the registry. Search for no license and it should pop up.
