Hello all.
I've got a new win2k machine with an old Fujitsu dot matrix attached to it. When I print documents several pages in length, the machine slows to a crawl for about 20 seconds.
The printer supports a few different emulations, so I've tried three or so. I've also switched from spooled to not spooled, raw vs. text, and so on. None of them seem to make a difference.
I had an identical problem with an xp machine a while ago, and changing those things fixed it right away.
Is there a way to remove and reload just the print services in win2k, or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Thanks for any words of wisdom you can spare.
