Hello all. Isn´t there an EASY way to locate a file and return a path as a string?.

I want to have a button that opens a window for browseing a picture (jpg) file and the return the path.

Didn´t get that one (I´m a beginner at this). I want the button to open a commondialog window and return a path. I think you ment just the filter to JPG file, or?

There is no easy!! way. You have to use an API call. Have a look at the Dev Ashish site for an example.
