Header fields do not appear when message is edited using Word

One of my users is experiencing a problem when replying to or forewarding messages; although the previous message text appears and is properly indented, the header information (to, from, date sent, etc.) of the previous message does not appear above it. The user has Windows 95, Outlook 97, and has MS Word enabled as the e-mail editor. The problem goes away if the option to use Word is unchecked. The problem only occurs with that one user.
